Paris; the city of lights, the most romantic city in the world… Who wouldn’t want to feel at home wandering the historic streets lined with opulent ornate buildings, freshly baked baguette in hand? Villa Daubenton offers just such an experience. Your own Paris apartment on a quiet residential street in the Latin Quarter. There are plenty of tourists hot spots nearby, but you wouldn’t know it from the peaceful views from the balcony.
In fact, Villa Daubenton is only a 20 minute walk from Notre Dame cathedral and the tourist hustle and bustle of the Ile de la Cite.
Of course what’s inside the apartment is perhaps more impressive than the attractions outside. Villa Daubenton offers accommodations suitable from 2-6 people in a studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartment. I stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which can accommodate up to six people.
The two bedroom apartment consist of a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a living area with pull out sofa, full kitchen and two bathrooms on two separate floors, complete with spiral stairs! In a city notorious for teeny tiny hotel rooms, this is quite the asset and of course all of the apartments are immaculately decorated.

Oh and let’s not forget the most important part of any vacation… the food! Breakfast at Villa Daubenton is to die for! Each morning one of the wonderful staff members delivers a bag full of fresh delicious treats procured from local bakeries. Croissants, fruit, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and a morning paper (in either French or English). The croissants in Paris are unrivaled, and when both the traditional and chocolate variety are delivered to your door, that’s heavenly!
Best of all (besides those views and those croissants!) is that the Villa Daubenton is part of the Happy Culture hotel group. Each Happy Culture hotel offers a unique experience for it’s guests, be it a mid-day wine tasting, a 24/7 candy bar, or in the case of Villa Daubenton, evening movies and cocooning.

There are many reasons that the Villa Daubenton is the perfect place to stay in Paris, but none more than the service. The team at Villa Daubenton provides what I’m convinced is the best service in all of Paris. Do yourself a favor and pick their brains. Everyone there is passionate about their city and full of great recommendations for restaurants and attractions off the regular tourist path. Paris can be an intimidating city and these guys really make you feel at home.

This information is so great. I haven’t been to Paris yet, but would love to, and this is so my style. Plus I love that they bring you fresh croissants in the morning and there are other Happy Culture hotels in Paris you stop into and enjoy a glass of vino and charge devices. Saving!
This looks nice and very comfortable not to mention accessible to all the major landmarks that are close by or within metro distance to the entire city. I love the big and modern vibe of the entire apartment.
I’ve travelled from Australia to Paris 5 times, I just love it. The architecture if my favourite thing about Paris, so I always choose where I stay carefully. I’ve never stayed in an apartment but Villa Daubenton looks fantastic & I adore the Latin Quarter – I’ll keep it in mind for my next visit in 2017. Viva la France!

Looks amazing. I love a great Paris apartment. They always amaze me at what they are able to fit inside such small areas. I’ve stayed in some incredible Parisian apartments, this looks like a great one too.
The kind of setting and the views it offers, I will be happy to settle for this.
More because I travel with family and looks spacious enough to accommodate all of us. 🙂

Sounds fabulous – thanks for the intro to Villa Daubenton. We’ve started to really appreciate apartment living when we’re traveling, because we usually find that it’s just as affordable as hotels, but comes with far more amenities. And it makes you feel like you’r ea local too even if only there for a few days. I love that this is on a quiet residential street which is close enough to the tourist attractions of Paris that you can walk, but peaceful enough that you can escape at the end of the day in peace 🙂
Eating a freshly baked croissant in a Paris apartment sounds lovely. Villa Daubenton looks like a charming place to stay. Was it expensive?
Ok let’s skip, the location and interior and go straight to the food because an accommodation that puts the effort to bring you breakfast is a great accommodation! And there’s no second opinion to that. I know the feeling to get a breakfast with local goodies delivered to you when on vacation and that is a little detail that makes the whole experience better. The fact that it is traditional croissants from local bakeries is so lovely. And come ooon, a croissant in Paris with this view is to die for!
I live in Paris in the neighboring Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and that’s much more space than most locals have. 🙂 I guess the entire building is owned by the same person and divided. That’s a cool concept. I know of one near Pont Neuf with a similar concept. The Latin Quarter is a nice area with lots of history and character.
Seems like a great place to stay in Paris. the views and available facilities seem first class. 20 minutes to Notre Dam puts you in the heart of Paris for exploring. We have only stayed in Montmartre area on the few occasions we have visited Paris so this would be a great change. Will bookmark this for our next trip into the French capital
I have visited Paris and other cities and towns in France. Your apartment is huge. The rooms look double the size of where I have stayed (with the same number of beds). I would definitely check out Villa Daubenton if I head to Paris again.

This is a lovely place to have an immersive experience in Paris/ Paris is such a lovely city with a unique culture. To really appreciate and enjoy Paris, it must be experienced like a local.

Paris is lovely. Part of the excitement is always also finding a nice little place to stay. The reason why I say little, is because in many cases, the rooms a very small in Paris. 🙂 Love the croissant!
