Whether you are planning a gap year after school or you are a little more mature we all have a desire to discover new places and new cultures. Doing so however, can often be a challenge to fund. However, with a little bit of background work before you go, you can make sure that you are likely to make some sort of money on your travels. Many bars and hotels are looking for temporary workers around the world. Shifts are often flexible, but also long. It is likely that you will only be receiving very little in terms of wages and the conditions could be tough. However, that said there are also some great businesses to work in throughout the world. Teaching English abroad is certainly big business. Many agencies across the world are looking for well educated, native English speakers to take on the role. It will help if you complete a TEFL – Teach English as a Foreign Language course as this is the gold standard in many countries worldwide. Have a quick search online and you will be able to find a course relatively local to where you live. Many people do this year after year. It is likely to involve you living away in the same area for six months of the year. Many of these roles offer living accommodation as a perk of the job. With an internet connection and computer or mobile device, a person is able to keep up-to-date with the world of investing and trading on a real-time basis. An important thing to note is that a person does not have to be rich to become a\u00a0<\/span>stock trader<\/span><\/a><\/span> or investor; small amounts of money and the right investments can turn into enough to be able to sustain someone whilst they travel.
